Pizza Barn began their participation in the MSHSL motivated #thankaref in the Spring of 2019. Providing a meal for officials after MSHSL events seemed to be the perfect way to thank our the referees, umpires and officials for the time they devote to the student athletes here in Minnesota. After each event, we are on site to deliver a pizza or a sandwich and cookie. We are also hoping to create an incentive for other communities to do the same. With a current shortage of MSHSL officials here in Minnesota we hope our efforts not only reach beyond the Princeton area, but also help in recruiting
